Refund Policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
We work on a deposit-and-milestone basis, we show progress every week, and we would rather fix a problem than argue about it. This policy says what happens to money already paid if a project stops early. It applies alongside the Terms of Service and your Statement of Work.
1. Before work starts
If you cancel in writing within 48 hours of paying the deposit and before we have started work, we refund the deposit in full.
2. Once work has started
- The deposit (typically 25–50% of the project price) is not refundable once work has begun. It covers planning, scheduling the team, and the discovery work that happens first.
- If a project is cancelled part way through a milestone, you pay for the work completed on that milestone, pro rata, and we refund any prepayment above that amount within fifteen business days.
- Milestones you have approved are not refundable.
- After final delivery and acceptance, no refund is available. Defects are fixed under the thirty-day warranty in the Terms of Service.
3. Revisions
Each milestone includes two rounds of revisions (or the number in your Statement of Work). Revision requests must be sent within seven days of delivery. Revisions do not give rise to a refund; they are how we get the work right.
4. Monthly and annual services
- Monthly plans (support, maintenance, marketing retainers) can be cancelled at any time with thirty days’ written notice. The current month is not refunded.
- Annual plans paid up front can be cancelled within the first thirty days for a refund of the unused months, less any set-up work done. After thirty days they are not refundable.
5. What is never refundable
- Third-party purchases made on your behalf: domains, hosting, software licences, stock assets, app store fees, advertising spend.
- Rush fees and paid consultations once the consultation has taken place.
- Work you asked us to change after approving it, or work that matches the Statement of Work but that you later decide you do not want.
- Time lost to delays on your side: late content, feedback or approvals.
6. How to ask
Email info@brandcode10.com with the project name and what you are asking for. We will reply within ten business days with a decision and, if a refund is due, a statement showing how it was calculated. Refunds are paid to the original payment method within fifteen business days of that decision.
7. If we disagree
If we cannot settle a refund between us, either side may ask for mediation in Flathead County, Montana before any court proceedings. Montana law applies, as set out in the Terms of Service.
